So you're probably wondering to yourself, "What is this thing all about? Why should I register?" Well you're not alone. Many others have pondered the same exact thing in the past. Well, worry no more. All your questions and more shall be answered in due time.

This was originally built as an alternative to the two methods of drafts offered by Yahoo's fantasy baseball; it was either a live draft or a draft based on pre-rankings. While both of these methods are perfectly usable, they each had shortcomings which lead the league I participate in to decide to do an offline draft. While we were originally going to do it through email, I decided that was not informative enough; we needed a nice central place to go to view who had been picked and who is still available. Thus was born this draft program.

It has since grown to have the following features:

• Draft Participation

  • Searching for player by name
  • Available player view: sortable by arbitrary data (such as team, position, batting average, rank, etc)
  • Queueing (for those times when you must be away for an extended period of time)
  • Projected Lineup (an easy way to see who you drafted and what positions you still need to fill)

• Draft Management

  • Import player data from a CSV file (or use one of our public lists)
  • Automatically populates draft picks in standard or snake format
  • Manage any pick: change who the pick belongs to or set the player they drafted (perfect for keeper leagues)
  • Add your own positions (this means the draft should be flexible enough for any sport)
  • Export draft results to a CSV file
